We're hiring motivated PhD students to join our group starting Fall 2025. Given the interdisciplinary nature of our research, students from diverse disciplines (e.g. physics, oceanography, electrical engineering, biology, computer science, mechanical engineering, bioengineering, etc) are encouraged to apply. Current and prospective Stanford students are strongly encouraged to reach out with a brief description of your background, your interests, and a copy of your CV.

Interested postdoctoral scholars are encouraged to reach out with your CV, a brief description of your background, future research interests and goals, and contact information for three references.

We welcome undergraduate students from a wide range of disciplines and experiences. If you are interested in doing a research project with us, please reach out with a brief description of your background (classes and outside activities including jobs/volunteerships) and interests (e.g. have you ever fixed a bicycle, built a radio, made a sculpture, taken a machine shop class, taught a skill or craft...)

We are hiring for a project scientist / engineer who enjoys teaching, has strong organizational skills, and a background in one or more of the following: (1) optics, optomechanics, photonics, (2) sensor integration and automation, (3) taking things apart and putting them back together again. Candidates should send a coverletter, a recent CV with the names of 3 references (contact info only), and a brief description of your previous research and work experience. Candidates who do not have experience in these specific areas but who have an idea of how they would contribute to our research are encouraged to reach out as well.
